Feeling Playful at Playland July 12, 2024
On July 8, IAHD participants and staff from all three-day programs had a morning thrill as they attended the 47th Annual Day at Rye Playland for People with Disabilities. Decked out in lime green shirts, our daring individuals conquered rides like the Grand Carousel, the Music Express, the Crazy Mouse, and the Double Shot. For those who wanted a more low-key day at the amusement park, there were plenty of seats and snacks to relax and watch their peers as they went from ride to ride. We had an amazing time and can’t wait for next year’s trip to Rye Playland!
