IAHD Really Loves to Rally! March 17, 2026

IAHD individuals and staff attended multiple rallies in the first half of March held by the New York Disability Alliance (NYDA) to advocate for more state funding for organizations like IAHD, as well as living wages for DSPs.

A large group from IAHD, mainly people at the Tarrytown program and Ryer residence, attended the March 10th rally in Albany. The second rally was held in Rockland County on March 13, and Tarrytown individuals and staff participated.
