IAHD is Ready to Rally! November 21, 2024

On November 19th, a large group of IAHD staff and self-advocates drove up to the New York State Capitol in Albany to join those who were also attending the rally organized by NYDA. The purpose of this was to encourage legislators to invest in the futures of people with disabilities and the incredible direct support professionals (DSPs) who look after them.

Check out the behind-the-scenes pictures they took when there was some free time between their advocating for themselves and others to explore the state Capitol building.

Thank you to all those who made this trip possible beyond the staff and individuals, including the IAHD residential team, HR, and the FIS team. This truly would not have been possible were it not for your continues support and advocacy!
