IAHD’s Pool Locker Rooms Get a Makeover November 17, 2023
This past October, IAHD partnered with Volunteer New York to plan and execute a project as a part of Regeneron’s annual Day For Doing Good. This collaboration entailed painting and redecorating the locker rooms at the pool at the IAHD DeVito Conference Center which serves over 200 adults supported by IAHD each summer.
Alongside the two enthusiastic Regeneron employees volunteering with us, Kimberly and Elena, IAHD employees Diana Eppolito (Development Dept.), Holly Aloi (Development Dept.), Anthony Moore (Maintenance), and Julian Campbell (Maintenance) painted over the pale green walls with vibrant yellow color. A few weeks later, the final touches were added to the locker rooms and brought to life with playful oceanic wall decals.

Thank you to Volunteer New York, Regeneron, the volunteers who spent the afternoon painting, and the IAHD employees who helped on this project. Because of this collaboration, IAHD program attendees and residents will have a fun new space available to them when swimming at the DeVito pool!
This project turned out to be a major success! Anthony went on to be named the IAHD November Employee of the Month for his dedication to this project and the IAHD community. Congratulations!
