IAHD Strikes A Pose November 13, 2024

Our day programs decided to have some fashionable fun by planning and executing fashion shows, with the people we support as the main models. Read more to see how they pulled it all off and see all of the looks featured!

St. Mary’s was the first to hold their fashion show. Their outfits were all homemade with the help of the staff. Each model walked the red carpet runway to a song of their choosing to show off their one-of-a-kind look. Afterwards, they celebrated the fashion show’s success with a dance party for all!

Tarrytown held their fashion show a few weeks later, in which individuals wore their favorite outfits to show off. The staff that helped them get ready and have the show run smoothly got their chance to shine as well by walking the red carpet runway themselves. There was also music and dancing at this fashion show, highlighting the vocal talents of John and the incredible dance moves by Emmanuel.

Thank you to our models for their incredible work! We also want to thank every staff member involved in making these shows happen, especially our emcees Carol and Kemeido, as well as our main photographers Johnny and Gus.
