Councilman Dinowitz Visits IAHD’s Bainbridge Day Program April 3, 2025
Early in April, special guest, District 11 Councilman, Eric Dinowitz visited the IAHD Bainbridge location. They spent their time going through a typical day at Bainbridge and what activities that may include.
Councilman Dinowitz enjoyed a yoga class held by Inner Being LLC and found his meditative state of mind with participating in the class alongside our individuals. After working up an appetite in yoga class, Councilman Dinowitz joined cooking class with Chef Jennifer. Later, he played a quick basketball game with the men shooting hoops upstairs. Their last activity of the day was going to an art class led by Johnny.
We are extremely grateful that Councilman Dinowitz was able to take time out of his busy schedule to not only stop by our Bainbridge program, but to immerse himself in the activities being held to connect better with the individuals we support. Thank you to everyone who coordinated this to make it a meaningful and fun afternoon for all! You can see some highlights of the day in the images below.
