A Mural Masterpiece at IAHD Bainbridge August 19, 2024

Members of the Day Hab Without Walls (DHWW) program at IAHD Bainbridge unleashed their inner artists with this summer painting project. With the help of Johnny and Dynamic Arts Gallery, DHWW painted a large trailer storage trailer on the property. This multi-week project allowed individuals to spend more time outside working as a team on this project. They even had the helping hands of Bainbridge staff and other participants at Bainbridge to paint sections of the trailer mural. The final product was a vibrant and playful mural — just like the artists who helped make this project come to life!

You can see the mural at different stages in the photos below. The first set is of when they first began the mural, the middle pictures show DHWW hard at work painting, and the final image shows part of the completed trailer mural!

Congratulations to DHWW and all who worked on this project!

It’s an incredible mural that is sure to bring some brightness and beauty to the Bronx.
