Dynamic Arts Unveils The De La Vega Museum September 30, 2023

On September 28, the Dynamic Arts Gallery in the Bronx presented a new exhibit entitled ā€œDe La Vega Museum.ā€ A community activist and renowned artist, James De La Vega collaborated with IAHD and Dynamic Arts Gallery to begin sharing his work with the world again after being on hiatus for 11 years.

His artistic inspiration is rooted in his tumultuous life journey, especially over the last decade, and a desire to uplift and inspire. The Director of the Dynamic Arts Programming at IAHD, Erin McSorley, elaborated on why this collaboration is so meaningful to all, especially the IAHD community: ā€œWe are thrilled to host De La Vega, as his work embodies the ethos of our vision to encourage authentic expression in an inclusive community.ā€

The show ran through November 9 at IAHD’s gallery in the Bronx.
