Creative at the Cloisters May 14, 2025

IAHD brought some of their more experienced artists to the Met Cloisters for a tour and creative class. The tour highlighted the relationship between art and plants, especially during the medieval times when pigments for art pieces were made from a variety of plants and flowers. After a tour by an incredible guide named Nitza, these IAHD artists were able to use flowers to add colors to their pieces. They all had an amazing first trip to this beautiful indoor/outdoor museum!
