All Around IAHD: May 2025 June 1, 2025
🎂 May is a festive time at St. Mary’s, as many program participants celebrate their birthday during this month! Towards the end of the month, St. Mary’s held a surprise party for five men and women who were all born within 10 days of each other! We hope the celebration was an extra special one, and want to wish Quentin D., Maryann S., Joel S., Gregory W., and Jeffrey V. a very happy birthday on behalf of the entire IAHD community!
🎨 Tarrytown Day Hab made incredibly unique artwork through stenciling and collaging!
🚒 Tarrytown day program visited the local fire station alongside students from Sleepy Hollow High School. We love the collaboration and had a thrilling time on this outing!
🌷 A few of the men living at our Yorktown residence attended nearby events in honor of the Filipino celebrations Santacruzan and Flores de Mayo held during the last weekend in May. Mervin was able to share part of his culture with his friends and housemates who joined the festivities!
