All Around IAHD: March 2026 April 6, 2026

🍀IAHD let their inner Irish loose this St. Patrick’s Day! St. Mary’s and Tarrytown day programs threw parties where everyone donned some sort of green attire. Seen in the last four photos in the below gallery, our Leland residence celebrated one of their own- Steven- and his Irish heritage with a culinary overview of Irish culture. The meal consisted of dishes like corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and Irish bread with butter. Yum!

🎤 Individuals from our Tarrytown program and students at Sleepy Hollow High School hung out together for the first time this year on March 19. They did arts and and crafts, ate some delicious baked goods, and sang their hearts out with some karaoke!

🖼️ Dynamic Arts Gallery hosted its first show opening of 2026 on March 18 for the show “Art Block”. Thank you to all who attended, including Bronx 97th District Assemblymember Reyes!

🗓️ For Women’s History Month and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, IAHD did social media features on the women of Ryer and their friendships, as well as one on Rima from our Tarrytown program and Armonk residence. Check them out now!
