Advocating in Albany with NYDA November 19, 2025

IAHD staff and the people we support got involved in local politics as they participated in the New York Disability Advocates (NYDA) Capitol Rally in Albany on November 18th. The purpose of this rally was to advocate for improvements for people with IDD and the people who support them including a 27% targeted inflationary increase and infrastructure investment. Thank you to the 20 members of the IAHD community from Tarrytown day program, our Ryer Residence, and our East Tremont residence who responded to this call to action!
